Sun Coast SoftWorks, Inc. is a consulting and software development company located in Palm Harbor, Florida, specializing in the integration of optical disk and jukebox subsystems in the UNIX® environment. Products include optical disk and jukebox device drivers that enable the system integrator or imaging system OEM to use optical drives and jukeboxes from multiple vendors in a reasonably device-independent fashion, a suite of performance benchmarking tools for optical devices and a set of subroutines (Write Once Filesystem(TM) Primitives Library) that permit the reading and writing of objects on optical volumes located in jukeboxes and/or standalone optical drives.

Selection by REI (Plexus) to provide optical disk device drivers for their SCO, SunOS4.x, and RISC/System 6000(TM) (AIX3.x) implementations
Selection by PRC to supply the optical disk device driver and Write Once Filesystem Primitives Library for the U.S. Army PERMS/ODIS project.
European distribution agreement with Marabu GmbH (Groß Glienicke, Germany).
Pacific Rim distribution agreement with Consistency Point Technologies, Inc. (Morgan Hill, CA).
